QMF is committed to reducing the overall carbon footprint of the festival. Patron transport to the festival now represents the largest contribution to carbon emissions for the event. An estimated 55 tonnes of carbon is produced relating to patron transport.
Whilst we work to futher reduce the event's carbon footprint, we are asking you to assist in offsetting your carbon emissions at the event.
You can do so by adding one carbon offset for each QMF festival ticket you are purchasing.
QMF will work with specialists to implement a science based carbon offset program relevent to the local environment. As with our waste initiatives, we will provide details on the program, costs and results following the 2021 event.
