Ruby Mae

  • Description:

Melbourne artist and Wiradjuri woman, Ruby Mae, blends nostalgia with a fresh perspective, carving out her place as a dynamic force in the Australian music scene.

Nearly a decade into her musical journey, Ruby's 2019 debut EP, 'We Sing Together Or Not At All', was our first look at a consistently compelling body of work. Ruby's music feels primed for a coming-of-age soundtrack; the balance of crushing lyricism with loftier, guitar-driven music has the ability to entice, envelop and charm.

2024 was a breakthrough year with releases of "Keeper", "Hurricane" & "Dickhead", all having impressive airplay across Triple M, Triple J and charting abroad on KEXP in Seattle, USA.

Ruby's debut album 'Baby', released in April 2025, represents a significant milestone, the culmination of nine years of artistic growth, gigging, connecting, and hard work . Recorded with ARIA award-winning producer Stephen Mowat, 'Baby' explores themes of love, self-discovery, resilience, and captures the complexities of modern youth.

The success of Baby has since propelled Ruby to new heights, leading to her 2025 win of Triple J’s My Siscompetition—further cementing her status as one of the country’s most exciting emerging voices with the knowledge, wisdom and expertise for the big stage.

The Mojo Corner

  • Description:

They are Rock. They are Roots. They are Blues. They have Soul.

Together now for more than 10 years, The Mojo Corner are a tight knit unit of great friends and musicians that are continuing to grow and develop their sound. Never sitting still, they have a reputation for tight and energetic live shows. The songs written are from a time that is theirs and are straight from the heart. Not tied down to one genre.

There has definitely been ups and downs over the years with a few line-up changes along the way, but new layers of keys and backing vocals has lifted the music to a new level. The boys have released 3 albums including Whole Lotta Woman, Trouble, and Bullet On A Train. They have a live EP “Live at Manorism Studio” both as audio and as a visual experience that shows the true essence of the band. Their newest album 'Help Me Out' out now is where the ever evolving sound of the band shines.

The Mojo Corner have toured all around Australia and have played hundreds of gigs including Echuca Winter Blues Festival, Blues On Broadbeach, Woodford Folk Festival, A Day On The Green with Chris Isaak and they are now returning to the stages of Queenscliff Music Festival. They have played alongside and supported many fantastic well known Australian artists along their journey too.

A little rough around the edges, always up for a beer, they are ready for a good time.
