Armed with a songbook full of stories and a baby blue electric, 19-year-old Ruby McKenna’s got loads to say. After spending 2024 travelling and busking through Europe and Asia, Ruby is back in Aus and ready to play.

Mixing funk, folk and rock, Ruby’s songs pulse, soar, and explore. Traversing the highs and lows of life, Ruby invites audiences to contemplate friends, enemies, addiction and loss. Some say she’s the love child of Carole King and Billie Eilish, but the people who know her best say she’s one of a kind.

As the winner of PFFF2022 Busking Competition (2022), Australian Danny Boy Competition (2022) and Spotlight Search (2018), Ruby plays to crowds big and small.
