​For 90 minutes, host Rob Major brings together local talent, QMF performers—and you! No setlist, little plan, just the magic of the moment. Every session is one-of-a-kind and will never happen the same way twice.

​Born as a monthly night in London in 2017, Imaginary Millions has jammed in Amsterdam and Manchester, taken the stage at the Love Supreme Festival in the UK, and found a regular home right here on the Bellarine Peninsula.

Kit Genesis (they/them) is the non-binary queer champion of moody folk/rock. Over the years, they’ve learned that giving a voice to their inner demons is much more cathartic than letting them fester and rot. Through intimate and energetic live performances, audiences are given the opportunity to connect and relate with Kit’s personal journey of growth and owning their queer identity.

The alt-indie artist's latest EP Romanticism delves into self-love, queer identity, and modern romance, blending delicate ballads with gritty indie rock. Romanticism reflects on Kit’s personal journey, showcasing the complexities of love and identity. Each track tells a unique story, from the vulnerability of queer love in Pride to the excitement of Explode at the Thought, inviting listeners to embrace their own whirlwind of emotions.

With each release, Kit Genesis continues to build momentum, receiving airplay on Triple J, PBS, and editorial support from platforms like Spotify’s New Music Friday Australia and Apple Music’s Indie & Chill playlists.

Kook Joey is the musical project of Joanna Kozbanis, blending introspective folk with 60s-inspired textures and a cinematic flair. Her songs explore themes of change, connection, and emotional release, often grounded in vivid natural imagery. With a sound that's both nostalgic and deeply personal, Kook Joey invites listeners into moments of reflection, play, and letting go.

These energetic and engaging shows have the audience in stitches as “Nicholas Ridiculous” performs his whimsical slapstick routines and catchy music with his charismatic puppets.

For more than a decade, the Krazy Koala Puppet show has performed to a range of audiences from all over Australia and the world! From small orphanages in southern Africa to the bright lights of Glastonbury Festival UK this show has delighted audiences through music and laughter.

19-year-old singer-songwriter Lewis Love is quickly capturing attention with his heartfelt songwriting and captivating blend of folk-infused country and modern pop.

With a debut album set for release in July of 2025, Lewis has already generated significant buzz through standout singles including "Can't See the Sky," which has amassed over 400K streams on Spotify and earned playlist placements alongside stars like Luke Combs and Jelly Roll.

Drawing comparisons to country artists like Zach Bryan, Cameron Whitcomb, and Morgan Wallen, as well as pop and hip-hop artists Post Malone and The Kid Laroi, Lewis Love's authentic storytelling and soulful delivery resonate deeply with audiences.

Further establishing his rising talent, this year Lewis will be performing at major Australian festivals including Ridin' Hearts alongside Waylon Wyatt and Megan Moroney, and Spilt Milk, sharing the stage with global stars Kendrick Lamar, Doechii, and Dominic Fike—solidifying his place as one of Australia’s most promising emerging artists.

Lizzy Hoo is many things – a noodle enthusiast, designer, sports lover, and rescue greyhound owner.

Lizzy is also a stand-up comedian, presenter, writer, and actor – And over the last few years has become one of the most in demand and hilarious live performers in Australia. You may have seen her on Network 10’s Have You Been Paying Attention? and The Cheap Seats, a guest on ABC’s Question Everything and The Weekly, Channel Nine’s The Hundred with Andy Lee and SBS’s The Cook Up with Adam Liaw. Her stand up has also appeared on numerous Melbourne International Comedy Festival Galas broadcast on the ABC and Just For Laughs Australia on Network Ten.

In 2022, Lizzy released her stand up special Hoo Cares on Amazon Prime Video worldwide to great acclaim, including a nomination for Best Stand-Up Special at the 2024 AACTA’s.

Lizzy is a master of mining her life and family into material that leaves audiences left wanting more. A hilarious, self-assured, observational-style has resonated with comedy-goers around the world, with Lizzy’s stand-up clips garnering millions of views online.

It’s been a sharp rise to stardom, having only given stand-up a go for the first time in 2017, as a way to gain more self-confidence in the work place. Safe to say it worked out pretty well.

With each passing year, Lizzy has been exponentially growing her audience to sold out houses around Australia, while exponentially stretching the ability to use her name as a pun with shows such as Hoo Dis?, Hoo Cares, Woo Hoo and most recently Deja Hoo.

Madeliene Cope is an Indie / Folk / Acoustic artist from Geelong that is completely in control of her craft.

With influences like Ry X, Ben Howard & Dustin Tebbutt, Mads’ music takes listeners on a journey, telling stories from her day to day life including feelings of love & loss, confidence & self worth. 

Whether performing in small, intimate venues or on larger stages, Mad’s raw and authentic sound is tied together with both beautiful & punchy arrangements, leaving a long lasting impression on her listeners. 

The MarimbaTaters are senior primary students from Tate Street Primary School in East Geelong who love to play the marimba!

These talented young musicians play rhythmically challenging, multiple-part arrangements of exciting African-inspired marimba tunes. The band is led by teacher and Community Music leader, Dani Rocca and accompanied by Adam Burke. These hardworking musicians love to make music.

Matt Davis is the lead singer and songwriter of Paris-based band The Wonder.

A founding member of Gersey, and instrumental outfit Bombazine Black, Matt has released ten albums and toured internationally, supporting bands such as Pavement, Wilco and The Flaming Lips.

Blending sixth sense harmonies with sun-dappled folk-rock, Minor Gold are award-winning duo Dan Parsons (AUS) & Tracy McNeil (CAN).  With heartfelt songs, free-spirited rhythms and an undeniable stage chemistry, their music floats you down desert highways and through coastal canyons.

Living the life on international highways & backroads since they formed in 2022, the pair have won over the finest intimate listening rooms, official showcases, major festivals and have supported Grammy Award winning songwriter Dan Navarro and the Teskey Brothers in the U.S.

Their highly anticipated sophomore album 'Way to the Sun' has been embraced by audiences on a global scale, landing major playlists and added to Double J, ABC Country, and is a sweet follow up to their debut release which took home the 2024 'Folk Award' in the Queensland Music Awards. 

Miss Goldie has hosted Boss Action on PBSFM for the last 17yrs, mining her 45rpm record collection for the platters that matter. She has lit up the dance floor at Soul A GoGo, Freedom Time Festival, Strawberry Fields Festival and supported Sharon Jones, Lee Fields, Charles Bradey & Thee Sacred Souls to name but a few. 

Munroe blend jangly, coming-of-age alternative rock with brooding, reflective ballads. A sound that swings between the energetic and the introspective—often within the same set. Known for their emotionally charged performances and endearingly awkward stage banter (emphasis on awkward), Munroe invites audiences into a space that feels both personal and unpredictable. MzRizk – Lebanese-Australian DJ, broadcaster, event producer, cultural curator, programmer for Brunswick Music Festival, and tour DJ for neo-soul artist Kaiit – is a powerhouse shaping Melbourne’s dynamic music and arts scene. With a self-taught foundation and an innate talent for genre-fluid storytelling, her sound traverses house, disco, hip-hop, jazz, soul, and Arabic music.

Renowned for her community-first ethos, she’s built a career amplifying marginalised voices, earning respect as one of Melbourne’s most versatile selectors and cultural visionaries. In 2025, she was invited to showcase at WOMEX, the world’s most influential global music conference and showcase festival in Tampere, Finland.  Her long-running radio show, Boogie Beat Suite on PBS 106.7FM, has been a staple of Melbourne’s community radio for seven years, delivering genre-blending sets with global influences.

MzRizk’s distinct sound has graced stages at iconic festivals like Glastonbury, We Out Here, SOLE DXB, and at landmark venues across Lebanon, the US, the UAE, and Croatia. As part of Tarabeat X MzRizk, she seamlessly weaves live percussion and Arabic instrumentation into DJ performances, creating a powerful fusion of contemporary club sounds and classic Arabic melodies. MzRizk’s impact extends to digital platforms, with her appearances on Coburg Up Late, Cafe 1001, and My Analogue Journal drawing over 13,000 views, further cementing her global reach and reputation as a tastemaker.

Norwood is the project of Naarm/Melbourne-based singer-songwriters Olivia Bolmat and Nathaniel Peacock. Formed through a shared admiration of upfront lyricism and inseparable harmonies, the pair have always aimed to create songs that find weight in their unassuming tenderness. Drawing influence from artists like Neil Young, Lucinda Williams and Gillian Welch, the duo fuses Americana inspiration with the alt-folk sounds of their home city, piecing together tentative vulnerability with candid self-awareness to craft their own take on observational songwriting.

Opelousas have a unique and hauntingly hypnotic take on blues and rock that will leave you mesmerised. The rhythms of Opelousas seep right into your bloodstream and their powerful performances leave punters crying out for more.

Inspired by the Louisiana spice capital of the same name, the Melbourne-based trio was formed by Kerri Simpson in 2018, drawing on the trio’s mutual love for the music of the deep south.

Their second album Opelousafried, released in February 2024, was album of the week upon release on both RRR and PBS radio, and has been nominated for Music Victoria’s Best Blues Album of 2024. Their debut album Opelousified won the award in 2019.

Their sound is a roux of Kerri Simpson’s dynamic vocals, electric guitar and baritone guitar, Alison Ferrier’s contagious guitar riffs, bucolic fiddle, and sultry vocal tones, seasoned with ARIA-award-winning Anthony “Shorty” Shortte’s expert swamp-soaked percussion.

Otis Namrell is a 23-year-old blues and southern rock guitarist, singer, and songwriter based in Melbourne, Australia. Originally from the Northern Rivers, Otis spent his teenage years crafting a unique and innovative approach to blues guitar, blending elements of jazz, swamp rock, country, and psychedelic rock into his distinctive style.

Since heading South, he has become a standout figure in Melbourne's blues scene, regularly Showcasing at venues like the Hume Blues Club, Melbourne Blues Appreciation Society, and Elwood Blues Club, while continuing to build his following nation-wide with performances at Agnes Blues & Roots Festival, Mitchell Creek Rock & Blues Festival and the St Kilda Blues Festival. The band's shows are rowdy, high energy and filled with softer moments that show the group's diverse abilities. 

Though still young, Otis's playing carries the soulful depth of a seasoned blues veteran, and his ability to improvise and connect with the crowd needs to be seen. He is backed by an exceptional rhythm section: Sonny Severin, a jazz-trained drummer with impeccable timing and the ability to shift between energetic bursts and delicate grooves, and Jack Blandford, a versatile bass player whose experience across genres—from psych-rock to reggae to bluegrass—adds both power and nuance to the band’s sound.

Peter Combe is Australia’s best known children’s singer/songwriter and the original King of the Kids. 

His achievements include 3 ARIAS for Best Children’s Album - Toffee Apple 1988, Newspaper Mama 1989, The Absolutely Very Best of Peter Combe (in Concert) 1992, 7 Gold & 2 Platinum Albums and 1 Gold DVD. 6 ARIA nominations all together. 

Recent national tours include Live It Up in 2017, Christmas 2018 and Greatest Hits 2020/2021. His 2021 Adelaide Fringe 8 concert season sold out. 

In 1987 he pioneered ABC for Kids, Australia's first kids music label.

Peter Combe’s Christmas Album, went gold in 5 weeks on its release in 1990, and is now an established Australian Family classic. It is the only successful Australian Christmas Album comprising ALL original songs. 

Mr Clicketty Cane (Wash Your Face in Orange Juice) with over 10 million streams on Spotify and 6.8 million YouTube viewings, is known literally by every child in Australia...and by most of their parents! 

Public Figures is the uncompromising punk project of longtime collaborators Evie Vlah (Sunfruits, Mika James) and Gigi Argiro (Sunfruits, Folk Bitch Trio, Elizabeth M. Drummond). Fueled by a shared desire to cut through the noise, the duo channel their lived experiences as a queer woman of colour and a non-binary artist into fiercely honest and emotionally charged music. Their songs dive headfirst into identity, power, and resistance—delivered with an infectious energy and a raw, nostalgic edge. 

Since their formation, Public Figures have quickly carved out a space in the local scene, supporting acts such as Shannon & the Clams (US), Gut Health, Delivery, and Frenzee. Known for their explosive live presence and no-holds-barred songwriting, they’ve captured the attention of crowds with just two singles released—“Onto Something” and “Landed In A Trap”—proving they’re a force to be reckoned with. 

This is punk with purpose. Urgent, dynamic, and impossible to ignore, Public Figures bring a sense of clarity and conviction to every show they play. Whether shouting into the void or dancing through the wreckage, the band is here to shake things up—and they’re just getting started.

REFLECTION is a space for people to reflect both literally and metaphorically and we need your help! In this installation, we will hold up a mirror to the world around us and explore what it means to reflect. From the mirror funhouse to the cool still water, we will look down, look up and look inside.

 REFLECTION is a large-scale interactive installation that invites participants to draw and write on brightly coloured mirror shapes. REFLECTION encourages participants of all ages to see themselves within the context of their community. At night REFLECTION glows with ultraviolet light turning your drawings into electric lines of colour.
