CONDITIONS OF TICKET PURCHASE

IMPORTANT PLEASE READ: To prevent ticket scalping Moshtix has a new anti-scalping feature with all tickets.

To purchase tickets, please read all the Terms and Conditions.

  • You must supply your CORRECT FULL NAME & DATE OF BIRTH at the time of purchase. This will be included on your barcoded ticket that YOU MUST PRINT & BRING TO THE EVENT. NO PRINTED BARCODE TICKET NO ENTRY. This event is NOT a credit card swipe event and the PRINTED BARCODE TICKET is required for entry.
  • The computer system at the point of entry will display the FULL NAME & DATE OF BIRTH supplied at the time of booking and you will be asked to display a current matching driver's licence/ "RTA Proof of Age" card or current Passport that matches this information. If the FULL NAME or DATE OF BIRTH has been tampered with your ticket/s will be cancelled and no refund will be provided.
  • For Adult ticket purchases: you may either
  • (A)  nominate 1 FULL NAME & DATE OF BIRTH for all tickets and receive ONE barcoded ticket. Everyone must arrive at once in a group, OR;
  • (B) You may Nominate ALL attendee FULL NAMES & DATES OF BIRTH and receive separate barcoded tickets for everyone. Each person may then arrive separately.
  • For the Family Discount Package ticket purchases you must nominate FULL NAME and DATE OF BIRTH, for all tickets and receive ONE barcoded ticket.  For duty of care reasons, and to be in keeping with the family-based nature of the event, the Family Discount Package ticket must include at least one parent / guardian. There is a limit of 6 dependent children for each Family Discount Package, which applies to Single or Double Adult purchases.  QMF reserves the right to refuse sale of “dependent child’ tickets in a bid to thwart any exploitation of the accompanying responsible adult policy. Dependent children’s tickets are only able to be purchased as part of a Family Discount Package for the same session. A dependent child is aged between 14 and 17 and must be wristbanded with the “responsible adult” who purchased the ticket. Proof of dependency may be required, such as Medicare card or school ID.  QMF also reserves the right to refuse entry to those whom present as a “dependent child” for wristbanding at the Festival yet who fail to satisfy QMF personnel that they are indeed a dependent child of the purchaser. [A “responsible adult” is a parent or legal guardian. QMF reserves the right to deem a person to be loco parentis: ie. a person who is in a position similar to a parent, e.g. uncle, aunty or family friend looking after children. This does not include boyfriend/girlfriend or older brother or sister .].
  • Children 13 years and under who are accompanied by a ticketed responsible adult enter the Festival at no charge (limits apply) and must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times at the event.
  • All ticket sales are final. Tickets cannot be reissued if lost, stolen or damaged. Once purchased, tickets are the sole responsibility of the purchaser. No refunds or exchanges will be available. Tickets are not transferable under any circumstance. It is a condition of sale that tickets may not be offered for re-sale and they are only valid if purchased from an authorised Moshtix outlet or www.moshtix.com.au website. All sales are final, unless the event is cancelled or rescheduled.
  • Tickets are sold subject to QMF conditions of sale and to the terms and conditions of entry of each of the Festival’s venues.
  • A valid ticket will be exchanged for a wristband to be fitted at the designated area near the entrance to the Festival venue and must be worn at all times. Wristbands must remain intact to gain entrance to the Festival. Damage to a wristband (even if accidental) will render it invalid and access to the venue denied. Admission to individual Festival stages is subject to capacity.
  • If QMF determines that the price of tickets set out on its website is in error, persons who have purchased tickets will be contacted. If the error has resulted in the purchaser being overcharged, the amount overcharged will be refunded. If the error has resulted in you being undercharged, QMF reserves the right to charge you the balance of the correct ticket price. If ticket holders disagree, tickets can be cancelled and a full refund provided.
  • Tickets sold for the performances at QMF are standing room only unless otherwise stated.
  • Tickets may be purchased Australia wide and internationally, but ticket holders must be present at the venue on the date of the performance. No refunds will be given if the ticket holder cannot attend the Festival for whatever reason.
  • Tickets may only be purchased with a credit card issued in the purchaser’s name.  Fees and surcharges include GST.
  • Tickets are sold on the express condition that ticket holders are bound by the rules and regulations issued by the organiser, the laws of the Commonwealth of Australia and the State of Victoria and the rules and regulations enacted there under. The purchaser is obliged to follow reasonable directions of Festival staff if required.
  • The information requested is only used in the processing of your tickets; as per the Privacy Act, the information is not supplied to any third party.
  • All ticket holders consent to any official filming and sound recording as members of the audience. No animals will be permitted onto the Festival site, with the exception of guide dogs. Activities such as moshing, crowd surfing and stage-diving are not permitted. Patrons engaging in these or other dangerous activities will be removed from the site without refund.
  • Ticket holders agree to comply with all QMF ‘security arrangements, as well as that of the venue provider, including personal searches (if deemed necessary by QMF). All illegal drugs, weapons or dangerous items (including umbrellas and glass) are prohibited and may be confiscated. No claim may be made against QMF or the venue provider for items confiscated. Persons in possession of drugs, weapons or dangerous items may be removed from the venue.
  • QMF or the venue provider may refuse admission to any ticket holder for any reasonable cause and may request any ticket holder to leave the venue for any reasonable cause.
  • Entry is at own risk and the right to refuse entry is reserved by QMF and venue providers. QMF and venue providers shall not be held liable for any loss, injury, or damages sustained entering or on the site – to the extent allowed by the law.
  • All bags/containers may be subject to a full search. The Festival is licensed – alcohol, bottles and cans are not to be brought onto the site - any found will be confiscated. Patrons wishing to consume alcohol must be 18 and over (photographic ID may be required as proof of age) and may only partake alcohol that is purchased and consumed within licensed wet areas. Anyone found supplying or buying alcohol for a minor will be removed from the event and criminal charges may be a consequence.
  • QMF disclaims any and all liability for the acts, omissions and conduct of any third party including the products, services, actions or failure to act of any venue or other person in connection with the performance or referred to on this site.
  • Entry is at own risk. Appropriate footwear and clothing must be worn at all times on the site. The Festival shall not be held liable for any loss, injury or damages sustained entering or on the site – to the extent allowed by the law. The Festival takes no responsibility for any hearing damage or loss, please use ear plugs if necessary.
  • All under cover venues are smoke free and some external areas may be designated smoke free.
  • QMF reserves the right to add, withdraw or substitute artists, vary any advertised program and vary audience capacity. No claim for compensation shall be made in the event that the program is varied due to the non-appearance of an advertised artist.
  • The possession or use of video cameras, professional photographic equipment, other visual, sound recording or transmission equipment is absolutely prohibited. Any person, not in possession of an official QMF Media Pass endorsed for film and/or photography as appropriate, found using a video camera or any device to record performances may be expelled from the venue and may render the offender liable for legal action.  
  • No trading or signs allowed without prior consent of QMF.
  • By making this QMF Early Bird purchase, you have confirmed you are a current QMF subscriber.  Please be aware that this will mean Moshtix will automatically forward your contact details to QMF.
  • We transmit your details using the industry standard internet security protocol - Secure Sockets Layer (SSL). This means that when you send information to us, it is sent in an ENCRYPTED format. The SSL (Secure Socket Layer) padlock is displayed in the corner of this window. This indicates that you are viewing this page over a secure connection. To prevent data compromise in the storage server, VeriSign stores sensitive transaction information on secure systems that cannot be accessed through the Internet. Furthermore, VeriSign uses hardware and software firewall technology and additional encryption technology to eliminate opportunity for intruders to break into a server and compromise information. The information we request is only used in the processing of your tickets. As per the Privacy Act, the information is not supplied to any third party.
