BILL BUCKLEY'S BAZAAR

The Queenscliff Music Festival is moving ! This year the festival is going back to its original site into the beautiful surrounds of Princess Park. As such, we are going to have a great retail and stall presence inside the festival for the estimated audience per day of approximately7000 people

Bill Buckley's Bazaar  is a fully enclosed, large marquee allowing traders  to show and display their wares and offerings to our diverse and large audience. Adjacent to the Kids Quarter, Kids Pavilion and on the same section of parkland as Hippos Stage, which is featuring such great acts as The Dynamites with Charles Walker, Richard Clapton, Vince Jones, The Bamboos, My Friend the Chocolate Cake and even Pseudo Echo, the Bazaar is a unique trading and retail opportunity. It is a step above your usual street market stalls.

The Bazaar will be promoted in the lead-up to the festival and will be a key experience for festival goers. Therefore we will be selecting very carefully traders and groups offering a diverse assortment of products, offerings, displays and wares.

 William Buckley (1780 – 30 January 1856) was an English convict who was transported to Australia, escaped, was given up for dead and lived in an Aboriginal community here in the Bellarine for many years. We honour him and the Wauthaurung people who treated him with affection and respect by naming our new Bazaar and festival experience after him !
