Mama Kin Spender

Minor Gold

Nicholas Ridiculous High Wire

Nick Schuller

    A master of deadpan humour, Nick Schuller is as dry as they come. His acerbic wit and understated delivery have established Nick as one of the most exciting acts in the thriving Melbourne comedy scene. 

    He was handpicked by the Melbourne International Comedy Festival to be part of the prestigious Comedy Zone in 2022 and has toured nationally with the Melbourne International Comedy Festival Roadshow.

    He has performed around the country and the world and has supported some of the biggest names in comedy including Tom Gleeson, Ray O'Leary and Phil Wang.

Norwood

    Norwood is the project of Naarm/Melbourne-based singer-songwriters Olivia Bolmat and Nathaniel Peacock. Formed through a shared admiration of upfront lyricism and inseparable harmonies, the pair have always aimed to create songs that find weight in their unassuming tenderness. Drawing influence from artists like Neil Young, Lucinda Williams and Gillian Welch, the duo fuses Americana inspiration with the alt-folk sounds of their home city, piecing together tentative vulnerability with candid self-awareness to craft their own take on observational songwriting.

Opelousas

  • Description:

    Opelousas have a unique and hauntingly hypnotic take on blues and rock that will leave you mesmerised. The rhythms of Opelousas seep right into your bloodstream and their powerful performances leave punters crying out for more.

    Inspired by the Louisiana spice capital of the same name, the Melbourne-based trio was formed by Kerri Simpson in 2018, drawing on the trio’s mutual love for the music of the deep south.

    Their second album Opelousafried, released in February 2024, was album of the week upon release on both RRR and PBS radio, and has been nominated for Music Victoria’s Best Blues Album of 2024. Their debut album Opelousified won the award in 2019.

    Their sound is a roux of Kerri Simpson’s dynamic vocals, electric guitar and baritone guitar, Alison Ferrier’s contagious guitar riffs, bucolic fiddle, and sultry vocal tones, seasoned with ARIA-award-winning Anthony “Shorty” Shortte’s expert swamp-soaked percussion.

Otis Namrell Band

  • Description:

    Otis Namrell is a 23-year-old blues and southern rock guitarist, singer, and songwriter based in Melbourne, Australia. Originally from the Northern Rivers, Otis spent his teenage years crafting a unique and innovative approach to blues guitar, blending elements of jazz, swamp rock, country, and psychedelic rock into his distinctive style.

    Since heading South, he has become a standout figure in Melbourne's blues scene, regularly Showcasing at venues like the Hume Blues Club, Melbourne Blues Appreciation Society, and Elwood Blues Club, while continuing to build his following nation-wide with performances at Agnes Blues & Roots Festival, Mitchell Creek Rock & Blues Festival and the St Kilda Blues Festival. The band's shows are rowdy, high energy and filled with softer moments that show the group's diverse abilities. 

    Though still young, Otis's playing carries the soulful depth of a seasoned blues veteran, and his ability to improvise and connect with the crowd needs to be seen. He is backed by an exceptional rhythm section: Sonny Severin, a jazz-trained drummer with impeccable timing and the ability to shift between energetic bursts and delicate grooves, and Jack Blandford, a versatile bass player whose experience across genres—from psych-rock to reggae to bluegrass—adds both power and nuance to the band’s sound.

Pierce Brothers

  • Description:

    Melbourne folk rockers Jack and Pat Pierce, better known as Pierce Brothers, have been carving out their own path in the indie-folk scene for years. What started as busking sessions in Bourke Street Mall has grown into a massive international career, with the two now known for their incredible live shows and affecting songwriting.

    From those early street performances where they shared the pavement with the likes of Tash Sultana and Tones and I, the duo built a loyal following the old-fashioned way: gig by gig, tour by tour. Along the way, they’ve played sold-out shows around Australia and the world, hit major festivals across Australia, Europe, and North America; as well as supported some huge names including James Blunt, Ben Harper, Zac Brown Band, and St. Paul and the Broken Bones to name a few.

    With multiple Top 10 ARIA albums, and over 30 million streams to date, Pierce Brothers haven’t taken their foot off the gas for years, and there’s no sign of slowing down!

    Right now, they’re back in the studio working on a new album and have just announced a massive return to the UK and Europe in 2026.

Reflection by Playable Streets

  • Description:

    It’s time to reflect, on a year, on a thought, on anything at all!
    REFLECTION is a space for people to reflect both literally and metaphorically and we need your help! In this installation, we will hold up a mirror to the world around us and explore what it means to reflect. From the mirror funhouse to the cool still water, we will look down, look up and look inside.

     REFLECTION is a large-scale interactive installation that invites participants to draw and write on brightly coloured mirror shapes. REFLECTION encourages participants of all ages to see themselves within the context of their community. At night REFLECTION glows with ultraviolet light turning your drawings into electric lines of colour.

Romanie

  • Description:

    In the music of Romanie, the listener is invited to become immersed in a rich palette of sounds and influences, buoying a natural vocal talent. 

    For Belgian-born, Melbourne-based singer and songwriter Romanie Assez, the music has always stemmed from an innate desire to express creativity through personal and engaging storytelling.

    Releasing her debut EP – Little Big Steps – in 2021, Romanie introduced herself beautifully with a collection of music that boasted influences as varied as Lucy Rose to Big Thief; Wet Leg and Alvvays, to Middle Kids. At the core of the material, a captivating sense of songwriting nuance and strength that was unafraid to delve deeper in its exploration of personal themes.

    Her 2023 debut album Are We There Yet? was nominated for the Australian Music Prize and saw her win the triple j Unearthed x NIDA music video competition and the 2023 Upstart Award, become a semi-finalist in the International Songwriting Competition, and a finalist in St Kilda Festival’s New Music Competition.

    Romanie has received a wide range of industry support from Junkee, Tonedeaf, triple j, RRR, Amazing Radio UK/US and MTV. Are We There Yet? landed multiple editorial playlists across Spotify & Apple Music which quickly gathered over 100k streams on streaming services and the music video for ‘Hallucinating’ was selected as ABC rage’s Wild One.

    In July 2024 Romanie was a mentee of Wild Turkey’s House of Music 101 receiving mentorship from and showcasing alongside Angus and Julia Stone.

    Ever since Romanie moved to Australia in 2019 she’s been establishing herself as a powerhouse in the live music industry, touring both solo as well as with her band; nationally and internationally - supporting artists including Trixie Whitley, Telenova, Blanco White, 10cc, Yoke Lore, playing alongside Katy J Pearson and opening for Australian favourites such as Keli Holiday, The Moving Stills, Mia Wray and many more.

Ruby Mae

    Melbourne artist and Wiradjuri woman, Ruby Mae, blends nostalgia with a fresh perspective, carving out her place as a dynamic force in the Australian music scene. 

    Nearly a decade into her musical journey, Ruby's 2019 debut EP, 'We Sing Together Or Not At All', was our first look at a consistently compelling body of work. Ruby's music feels primed for a coming-of-age soundtrack; the balance of crushing lyricism with loftier, guitar-driven music has the ability to entice, envelop and charm. 

    2024 was a breakthrough year with releases of "Keeper", "Hurricane" & "Dickhead", all having impressive airplay across Triple M, Triple J and charting abroad on KEXP in Seattle, USA. 

    Ruby's debut album 'Baby', released in April 2025, represents a significant milestone, the culmination of nine years of artistic growth, gigging, connecting, and hard work . Recorded with ARIA award-winning producer Stephen Mowat, 'Baby' explores themes of love, self-discovery, resilience, and captures the complexities of modern youth.

Ruby McKenna

Slow Art Collective

    Slow Art Collective, founded in 2009 by Chaco Kato and Dylan Martorell, is a collaborative art platform dedicated to the principles of the Slow Movement, sustainability, and creative community engagement. The collective explores the poetic potential of everyday materials such as string, rope, and textiles, transforming simple gestures and processes into immersive, sensory-rich experiences. Their work emphasizes process over product, encouraging audiences to engage actively and at a human pace, fostering reflection, connection, and participation. 

    Through both intimate and large-scale installations, Slow Art Collective blurs the boundaries between artist and audience, turning shared spaces into sites of experimentation, collaboration, and play. Their projects have been presented at notable institutions and events including the Exploratarium in San Francisco, Tokyo Biennale, TarraWarra Museum of Art, McClelland Sculpture Park and Gallery, Mornington Peninsula Regional Gallery, Powerhouse Museum, Mpavilion, NGV, Gertrude Contemporary, and Esplanade Singapore. By valuing patience, sustainability, and human-scale interactions, Slow Art Collective creates art that resonates with both local communities and global audiences, offering meaningful alternatives to conventional contemporary art practices.

Squid Nebula
