Is ROOT! singer “DC” the former leader of TISM? He isn’t saying. But he IS arguably Australia’s most literate, funny, charismatic front man, backed by a rootsy, funky combo who sizzle with musical chops and CVs that include Ice Cream Hands, Lisa Miller, Thelma Huston, and Eric Burdon.

DC Root actually conceived the idea for this band whilst enjoying the Queenscliff Festival a few years back. And now the circle is complete - ROOT! bring to Queenscliff their catchy, funny, dark songs of the suburban underbelly in a riveting show that’s part rock band, part poetry reading, and part stand-up comedy.
