Our Core Values

Central to our vision is the annual Queenscliff Music Festival, which is a multi day celebration of  contemporary Australian music. This is the cornerstone that allows us to drive and support year-round arts and cultural activities that enrich the local community and boost tourism and visitation to our region.

We are focused on supporting and nurturing the next generation of local creative talent through workshops, mentorships, and performance opportunities, fostering the future of the Australian music scene.

Our strategic goals aim to adapt to the changing landscape of the music industry and offer immersive experiences that showcase Queenscliff’s natural beauty and rich heritage.

Through collaboration with local businesses and organisations, we strive to create an inclusive, environmentally sustainable event that engages people of all ages and backgrounds.

History

Quick Links

Queenscliff is a picturesque, historic township located on Waddawarung country on the Bellarine Peninsula, 35 kms from Geelong and 100kms from Melbourne.

Queenscliff Music Festival was founded in 1997 by a small band of locals keen to increase the value of tourism to the local economy and to promote Queenscliff’s unique characteristics. Over the years the team behind the festival has grown, combining the industry skills and networks of a small team of paid staff with the dedicated contributions of more than 500 volunteers annually.

The festival site is nestled amongst the ancient, towering Cypress trees in Lower Princess Park, with a backdrop of stunning views of Port Phillip Bay, Sorrento and the Queenscliff Harbour. Each year, on the last weekend in November, upwards of 10,000 people gather to enjoy a diverse range of contemporary music, local food and drinks in a family friendly environment. activities.
